Vanangaan Movie Review (2025) – Vanangaan is an upcoming Tamil action drama film written, co-produced, and directed by Bala under B Studios. Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions is also a co-producer. The film stars Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash in the lead roles.
The film was first announced in March 2022, with Suriya starring and producing under his banner, 2D Entertainment, and the working title was Suriya 42. In July 2022, the official title Vanangaan was revealed. However, Suriya and 2D Entertainment withdrew from the project in December 2022 due to changes in the storyline. Arun Vijay replaced Suriya, and Roshni Prakash took Krithi Shetty’s role. Bala also took over the production responsibilities alongside Suresh Kamatchi.
Filming began with Arun Vijay in March 2023 and was completed in April 2024. The film features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by R. B. Gurudev, and editing by Sathish Suriya.
Vanangaan is set to release worldwide in theatres on January 10, 2025.
